For homeowners

Hire someone on what they have finished, not what they wrote about themselves.

Everyone on here shows before-and-after photographs of work a real customer paid for. There is nothing to post, nothing to review, and no way to buy your way up the page.

Not sure who you need? Photograph it and describe it — it stays on your phone until you pick somebody.

01

Say what needs doing

In your own words. You do not have to know that the thing you want is called a gutter clear-out, or guess whether it is a $60 job or a $600 one — the prices on here are what people actually paid.

02

Look at work that really happened

Every job on a contractor’s page has a before and an after photograph, and every one was paid for — by card, or marked by him as settled in cash. He picks which jobs to show; he does not pick what the figures underneath them count, and they cover the jobs he left out too: how often he turned up on the day he said, and how many of his customers had him back.

03

Call him yourself

You call him. We never pass your number to anybody, and no contractor pays us to be put in front of you — so nobody is going to call you eleven times before dinner.

04

Keep the record

The invoice a contractor texts you has a link at the bottom to keep the job — the photographs, the date, what it cost. Along with everything else ever done at your house, by anyone, in one place instead of fifteen text messages.

Why this is not Nextdoor or TaskRabbit

Not because they are bad at what they do — because they are built the other way round. On those, a reputation is something a person typed. Here it is what a finished job left behind.

There is nothing to post

No feed, no threads, no comments, no way for anybody to be louder. Somewhere with a post button, the loudest wins and the spam never stops. Here a contractor appears because he finished work somebody paid for, and there is no other way in.

No stars, and no reviews to fake

A review is text, typed by someone, verified by nobody — it can be bought, traded, or written by a cousin. Every number on a contractor’s page is arithmetic on jobs that really happened, and he cannot type a single one of them.

You can see whether he turns up

The most common complaint about contractors is not bad work, it is waiting in all day for somebody who never came. Because the app knows the day he promised and the moment he took the first photograph, his page can show how often those match. Nowhere else can tell you that.

Nobody pays to be at the top

No sponsored results, no boosted listings, no advertising of any kind. Results are ordered by how much work a contractor has actually finished. There is no position to buy here at any price.

What we are not telling you

We have not inspected anybody’s work, checked a license, or met them. A contractor’s page is a record of jobs that happened and were paid for — it is not a recommendation, and it is not a substitute for asking about insurance or talking to somebody who has used him.

This is also new and small. There are not many contractors on here yet, and the search says how many rather than pretending otherwise.

See what these jobs actually cost.

Real prices from jobs that were finished and paid for, with the photographs to go with them. No account needed to look.
